As part of the Upsky Hotels and Resorts, Long Island Hotel has announced the contract agreement with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Groups' Radisson brand on May 26th, 2016. It is the third hotel brand in the United States signed with Upsky Hotels Groups'self-owned assets besides Crowne Plaza and Best Western Plus.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is one of the top ten largest and dynamic hotel companies in the world. They have an expanding portfolio of over 1,700 properties, including hotels,resorts, restaurants, and cruises in operation and under development. Their footprint covers 82 countries and they operate a powerful set of global brands: Radisson BLU, Radisson RED, Radisson, Park Plaza, Country Inns & Suites and Park Inn. They have been acquired by the Chinese corporation HNA Tourism Group in Apr, 2016. Radisson, as the cooperated brand with Upsky, is a modernized,socially responsible and service-driven brand. At its very heart, Radisson is a brand of true hoteliers who understand business travel, the complexities of life on the move and the solutions hotels must offer–no matter where in the world they may be.
Upsky Hotels Groups will make full use of the advantages of Radissons' brand recognition and customer resources and achieve professional hotel management for self-owned assets through this cooperation. Long Island Hotel is willing to spend one year in completing the first phase of the update and upgrade without stopping its service. The first phase is expected to be completed by Apr, 2017. Long Island Hotel is bound to further strengthen the image and brand awareness, provide more excellent service and create more distinguished achievements for our Hotel Group.
